NECMEC Article

The Rutland Regional Emergency Communication Center is part of NCMEC’s Missing Kids Readiness Program.

Their skills were put to the test on Feb. 20, 2023 when they received a call of a 5-year-old non-verbal autistic boy wandered from his home. They worked continuously with the family, media and first responders which contributed to the child being located unharmed.
